Su Ning, former vice president of People’s Bank of China and chair of China Unionpay Stock Corporation board is taking on a new role as chair in consultant committee of International Currency Research Institution (ICRI) at Renmin University of China recently. Before this, four experts including Robert A. Mundell, the 1999 Nobel Economy Prize winner and a professor at Columbia University, Yam Chi Kwong, the former president of Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Ronald I. Mckinnon, a noted economist and professor at Stanford University, and Steve H. Hanke, a noted finance expert and professor at The Johns Hopkins University have served as consultants in ICRI.
