The HSC and its employees existed before the building, and we also had to cut 10% of our budget plus a probable 5% more. No additional staff have been hired. Where do people get off spewing hate and misinformation about something they know nothing about?
Are these the buildings which are owned by the health science center faculty?
I have very mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, I'm happy for Bryan. This going to bring millions of dollars of spin off businesses to Bryan thus adding to our tax base. On the other hand, I feel bad for all the money spent that could saved a lot of jobs on campus. However, this was planned 4 years ago before the bad economy hit Texas. However, that doesn't make the present situation any better.
