RadiSys Multi-Core at Intel ESC Fall 2006 North America and Europe

RadiSys was the only vendor at the Intel ESC West show with a complete HW/SW solution for multicore design. As a proof-of-concept, we demonstrated the classic PONG video game running on RadiSys' Topaz Mini-ITX board, which was configured with an Intel® Core Duo processor.   We ran the OS-9 real-time operating system on one core and Fedora Linux general purpose operating system on the other.  Both operating systems executed their own paddle and communicated gameplay  with VirtualLogix VLX real-time virtualization software.
