- Enjoy a trolley ride around Pittsburgh and a guided tour of trolley artifacts for free, thanks to the Jack Buncher Foundation.
- Fair — Vanka Block Party
- April 27, 12–4 p.m., Maxo Vanka Murals
- Admire Croatian-American artist Maxo Vanka’s magnum opus alongside music, activities, and crafts to support its preservation.
- May 5, 7 p.m., Prime Stage Theatre, New Hazlett Center, pay-what-you-can $10+
- America’s first professional mobile EMT service was innovated in 1967 right next door in Pittsburgh’s Hill District. Its story is the focus of the new play, “Freedom House,” premiering this week.
- Play — “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”
- April 25 & April 27, 7 p.m., free
- Did somebody say conflict of interest? Come see this abridged production of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” independently produced by students in Carnegie Mellon’s School of Drama.
