Presidential elections are due to be held in Ivory Coast in October 2025.[1]
Electoral system
[edit]The President of Ivory Coast is elected by absolute majority vote through a two-round system to serve a 5-year term.[2]

[edit]Some presidential candidates, including Gnangbo Kacou, are planning to abandon the CFA franc, a controversial move.[11]
