2024-2025 USA Fencing All-Academic Team
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>USA Fencing All-Academic Team Present by&nbsp;Absolute Fencing Gear</strong></p> <p>USA Fencing and Absolute Fencing Gear have once again partnered to recognize young fencers who have excelled in high school with All-Academic Team honors.&nbsp;<strong>Able-bodied and Para Fencers will be evaluated for the same team.&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Once the fee for the All-Academic Team Program has been paid, you will receive an email confirmation with the link to complete the application.</strong></p> <p>Athletes with a GPA of at least 3.85 (94 or better) are eligible to be named to the All-Academic First Team (gold). Second Team (silver) athletes include those whose GPA is between 3.4-3.84 (83 to 93). Honorable Mention Team (bronze) athletes include those whose GPA is 3.83 (82 and below).</p> <p>In addition to GPA, class rank (where applicable) is reviewed, and nominees must be in the top 25% of their class for first team consideration. Only traditional core academic classes will be considered when evaluating transcripts.</p> <p>Absolute Fencing Gear has also pledged $10,000 in scholarships for the All-Academic Team program. One female and one male applicant will receive $4,000 each based on both their GPA and essay. Two additional applicants will receive $1,000 each based on their submitted essay.</p> <p>Payments are non-refundable.</p> <p>To be considered for the All Academic Team and/or the All Academic Team Absolute Fencing Scholarship - you must be a current member of USA Fencing).</p>

2024-2025 USA Fencing All-American Team
<p>Funds paid are non-refundable. Only USA Fencing members are eligible for this program.&nbsp;<strong>Able-bodied and Para Fencers will be evaluated for the same team.</strong></p> <p><strong>Once the program fee has been paid, you will receive an email confirmation with the link to complete your application.&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><br />SELECTION CRITERIA<br />Must be a current USA Fencing Access, Competitive, Life or Life Installment Member.</p> <p>Must be in 9-12th grade at a secondary school or in a home school program. No post-graduate fencers will be considered.</p> <p>Must have earned or renewed an E rating or higher in the current fencing season (after August 1, 2022)<br />Note: Fencers who earned or renewed a rating prior to August 1, 2022 can submit an appeal form. To be considered for appeal, the fencer must have competed regularly during the 2021-22 season with results worthy of All-American status.</p> <p>Must have displayed exceptional character as an athlete, a student and a community member.</p> <p>ALL AMERICAN TEAMS<br />All-American Teams<br />First Team USA Fencing All-American: Must have earned or renewed an &ldquo;A&rdquo; or &ldquo;B&rdquo; during the current competitive season and satisfied other requirements listed above.</p> <p>Second Team USA Fencing All-American: Must have earned or renewed a &ldquo;C&rdquo; or &ldquo;D&rdquo; during the current competitive season and satisfied other requirements listed above.</p> <p>Honorable Mention Team USA Fencing All-American: Must have earned or renewed an &ldquo;E&rdquo; during the current competitive season and satisfied other requirements listed above.</p> <p>All-American selections will receive certificates of achievement and recognition in USA Fencing communications. All-American Team members can promote their accomplishments on college applications and personal resumes.</p>

Referee Parafencing Exam
<p>Thank you for taking an interest in becoming a USA Fencing Parafencing&nbsp;referee.</p> <p>The exam is available to those interested in becoming a USA Fencing Parafencing referee as well as athletes, parents and other members of the fencing community. A USA Fencing profile is required to purchase the exam. After the exam is purchased,&nbsp;to access the exams:</p> <p>&bull;Log into USA Fencing<br />&bull;Once logged in, on the right-hand side click &ldquo;My Dashboards&rdquo; in between &ldquo;My Account&rdquo; and &ldquo;Membership Card&rdquo;. <br />&bull;Click into &ldquo;Referee Profile&rdquo;<br />&bull;Once inside the referee profile you will see Tabs in the bottom left corner. Click <br />"Exam Enrollments" and Sign in.</p> <p>A passing score is 90 percent or better. We encourage you to take all of the weapon exams to avoid having to pay the fee again to take additional tests later.&nbsp; Once you complete the exam(s), you will no longer have access to them but you will have access to your exam scores.</p> <p>A passing score is 90 percent or better.
